Our Digital Sound & Music Recording program revolves around practical hands-on instruction in our world-class recording facilities and on our cutting-edge digital audio workstations. By studying in one of the best-equipped audio colleges in the world, students learn the skills and technologies audio production professionals use everyday. Over 60% of that training time is spent working hands-on with the equipment and working with our instructors.

RAC instructors are some of the finest pros around and boast impressive credentials in the audio and music business. RAC has cultivated an intimate and sensitive learning environment that encourages students to creatively explore and experiment. Our highly successful approach to learning has helped our students develop impressive sound and music recording skills.

The objectives and contents of the Digital Sound & Music Recording program revolve around developing solid skills in digital sound production, music recording, computer-assisted sound design, electro-acoustics, MIDI, music for film and television, post-audio, and surround sound mixing and recording. Our Digital Sound & Music Recording program reflects all of the major components of the rapidly evolving audio production universe.

Digital Media
What is digital media? It is the combining of technology with ideas, art and design. It is everything from web design, DVD authoring, 3D graphics, and digital audio/video production to multi-media based entertainment and internet distributed content. Digital Media has become one of the fastest growing industries of our time.

RAC’s Digital Media diploma program has been developed with assistance from industry experts. RAC’s Digital Media studio is an impressive environment our students use to communicate their ideas with the world. The internet, e-learning, games, web sites, films, broadcasts, they all use the latest in digital media technology to bring it all together.

You’ve probably already spent hundreds of hours surfing the net, conceptualizing and creating designs for posters and custom CD covers, or maybe even recorded a song or shot a video for your local garage band. RAC will give you the tools and knowledge you need to further develop these skills and give you the competitive edge. Now is the time to turn your creativity and passions into a career you love.
