Alpine English School:
Alpine English School (AES) is based in beautiful Kimberley, British Columbia. Once home to the world famous Sullivan Mine, Kimberley is now a four season resort destination dedicated to tourism, recreation and education. Located in the southeastern corner of the province of British Columbia, Kimberley is about four hours from Calgary by car and only an hour and a half from Vancouver by plane.

Location and Facilities:

Kimberley offers a wide range of accommodation options for students at Alpine English Schools (AES). From motels, hotels and a youth hostel to condos, apartment and neighbourhood home rentals, Kimberley offers something for everyone.

Students planning to study at AES for a week or more can apply for homestay placements. Our Coordinator of Student Services carefully screens and evaluates each family to ensure a safe, comfortable and enjoyable living environment. All homestay families provide AES students with a private bedroom, three meals a day, laundry facilities and Internet access.
