Okanagan Fashion Institute Inc is intended to give students knowledge & training at the foundation of Fashion Design, as well as to inspire awareness & confidence in one's unique ideas, skills, imagination & distinctiveness.
Courses:During the 10 month Fashion Design Diploma Program, students attend classes 2-Days a week, plus one evening, allowing them the means to work full time to support themselves while attending School.

FD202-Illustration & Design II: Advanced rendering of the Human Figure & Clothing Design
FD203-Pattern Making II: Flat Pattern Design & Drafting Patterns
FD204- Sewing II: Sewing, textiles, cutting & finishing techniques
FD205- Fashion Studies II- Fashion Advertising & Marketing; Individual, Beauty & Style.
FD301-Illustration III: experimenting further with mixed media & designing individual apparel line.
FD302-Design & unique finishing techniques
FD303-Pattern Making III - Drafting Patterns from individual designs
FD304-Sewing III: final garment line & finishing techniques
FD305-Fashion Studies III- Portfolio Composition & Layout, Resumes, Fashion Entrepreneurship.
With the culmination of the 10-Month Fashion Design Program, students will be experienced in conceptualizing a Design, visually bringing their imagination to life through Illustration and Pattern Making, to Sewing a finished garment. Upon Satisfactory completion of the Fashion Design Program, students will be awarded a Diploma in Fashion Design.
