Academie Ste. Cecile International School:
Located on a 27 acre park like setting in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. IB World School - Académie Ste Cécile International School is affiliated with the International Baccalaureate Organization and prepares students for the world recognized International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB Diploma). Founded and based on principles of the Roman Catholic Church, we are committed to the ecumenical movement with great sensitivity to inter-faith dialogue by respecting the religious and cultural diversity of students and faculty. International Baccalaureate (IB) programme
The International Baccalaureate (IB) programme is a comprehensive and rigorous two-year curriculum leading to examinations for high school students in their senior years of study. It is a deliberate compromise between the specialization required in some national systems and the breadth preferred in others.
Advanced Placement Program®:
The Advanced Placement Program® (AP®) is a challenging academic program designed
to provide motivated high school students with college-level academic courses. Established in 1955 by the College Board, the AP Program is a cooperative educational endeavor between secondary schools and colleges and universities. High school students who complete AP courses demonstrate their mastery of subject material by earning qualifying grades on AP Examinations.
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
The TOEFL test is a requirement for admission into colleges and universities where instruction is in English. In addition, many government, licensing, and certification agencies, and exchange and scholarship programs use TOEFL scores to evaluate the English proficiency of people for whom English is not their native language.
