Homestay Program: The IH Vancouver Home Study Program means living at home with a carefully selected teacher with whom you study English intensively each day. In addition to the English tutorials, you will play a part in home life, practicing your English from morning to night, joining in conversations at meal times and meeting people socially.
Your course is tailored to be as intensive as you want and to fit in with your schedule. Courses are available throughout the year as you decide which day you wish to start and which day you wish to finish.
Courses run for between 15 and 30 hours per week and are perfect for students who need accelerated language courses in an English speaking environment. Courses are available on a private or semi-private basis.
Other Accommodation: Dormitory or Student House - Both the dormitory & student house are approximately 10 minutes to the school by bus (25-minute walk).
There are a total of 22 rooms available. Each room is private with shared kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities. Both options are available to adult students only and do not include meals.

located between the Pacific Ocean and the
Coastal Mountains. This location provides the
ideal conditions for a variety of outdoor
activities such as swimming and hiking in the
summer and skiing and snowboarding in the
winter. Vancouver also enjoys one of Canada's
mildest climates.
IH Vancouver is located on the
northwest corner of Broadway and Alder Street,
between Oak and Granville. There is an express
bus stop at Broadway and Granville (99-B Line
and 98-B Line Buses) and a regular bus stop in
front of our school. The campus is within
walking distance to Kitsilano Beach, Granville Island, many shops,
restaurants and cafes and is 10 minutes by bus
