Quest Language Studies Formerly ESH Language Centre in Toronto offers small class sizes (7 to 9 students on average), a dynamic, communicative student centred teaching methodology, professional instructors combined with up-to-date material and equipment help to ensure student success.  Accreditation:

We are accredited by the Canada Language Council (CLC) and the Canadian Association of Private Language Schools (CAPLS). Quest Language Studies Formerly ESH Language Centre is also a member of the CEC, FIYTO, ALTO, GWEA and AILIA.


 Facilities:

Our modern facilities include: student lounges, language lab, kitchen, small library, coffee/juice and snack bar, movie room, fully equipped self-study facilities with audio/visual equipment and books, multimedia language lab, numerous internet ready computers (webcam and headset equipped) and wireless access.

Recreational activities are an important part of the learning process. That's why ESH offers an exciting variety of activities to suit every taste.

Through out the year there are a minimum of 3 great activities per week and almost every day in the Spring and Summer . Activities include:

 Homestay:

Host families are carefully selected on the basis of their interest, background and the quality accommodation they can offer you. All kinds of families are involved–and have agreed to provide you with the following:

-  Fully furnished and equipped (linens, towels) private room with a desk and lamp
-  Private or shared bath
-  Nutritious meals – 3 meals a day, continental breakfast, bag lunch and warm dinner
-  Accessible - (within 30-40 minutes of ESH)
-  Respect for Privacy
-  Access to telephone, television, laundry and other household amenities
-  English language support
-  Introduction into Canadian culture and family life

Your host family plays a very important role in your learning experience. They offer the security of a home base where you will live and build on your studies. The host family will not only welcome and introduce you to the Canadian experience, but, will assist you in fitting into the culture so that you get the most out of your experience.


 Residence Accommodation:

Residences (based on availability) may be suitable for students who wish to have a greater degree of independence than offered in a homestay and keep accommodation costs down. In residence type accommodation you are provided with a private room and shared bathroom, kitchen and living area. You must provide for your own meals.

Quest Language Studies Formerly ESH Language Centre works with a number of residences in Toronto. You have a choice of 2 types of residences:
Basice residences are studnet houses - private homes that have been converted and occupied by students. They provide fully furnished accommodation, shared kitchen and washroom facilites and amenities such as TV, telephone, cutlery and cooking utensils.
Standard Residences: are mainly located in the city centre, close to the schoo, and affiliated with universities. Almost all standard residences (except YWCA)are available in the summer only from late May to the middle of August. The location of basic residences varies but they are all generally within 30 to 40 minutes of ESH and the city centre by public transport.

If you are looking for affordable, clean residence type accommodation that isavailable all year, basic residences are your best choice.

Prior to yoru arrival you will revied detailed Below are some pictures of basic residences.

At least two to three weeks prior to your arrival we will send you complete accommodation information, including: details about location, pictures (outside and inside) and nearby transportation. See sample profile on right.


 Private and Shared Apartments:

Private apartments are ideal for students who prefer a very private and independent type of accommodation. Apartments are fully equipped and include a bedroom, kitchen, living area, laundry facilities and in some cases maid service. You must provide for your own meals. It is possible to share apartments.

The accommodaitons menu lists a number of apartments and the approximate price of each to give you an idea of what is available.

The price of apartments varies widely depending on:

* Lenght of stay
* Location
* Number of people
* Ameninities (pool, sauna, etc...)
* Season

Advanced booking is not only recommended but essential if you want to pay a reasonable price and have guranteed placement.

If you would like to book an apartment, please make sure to inform us of the following:

* Number of people who will be using the apartment
* Location desired - within what distance if city centre is acceptable
* What amenities (pool, sauna, etc...) you want, if any
* Duration of stay

The more information you provide us the better able we will be to place you and the happier you will be.
