Pacific Audio Visual Institute (PAVI) is a fully-accredited post-secondary school centrally located in the heart of Vancouver, BC, Canada. We offer 1-year diploma programs in Audio Engineering & Production and Film & Music Business to Canadian and international students. Our programs are a combination of theory, technical instruction and ‘hands-on’ training and each program incorporates career planning and business skills.

Accredited Career Training Programs in Vancouver, BC:
PAVI is accredited under the Private Career Training Institutions Act of British Columbia (PCTIA). We differ from other institutions in that we teach within the environment of an operating, full-service, world-class studio complex. Students receive personal attention and train on ‘industry standard’ equipment. Graduates leave PAVI with a portfolio, and with the job search and entrepreneurial skills required to build a career in the industry.

Funding:
Qualified students may be eligible for funding from various organizations. PAVI offers a number of tuition grants each semester.

1-Year Diploma Programs:

- The Audio Engineering & Production program incorporates in-depth training in sound engineering and music production. The school puts students in our world-class commercial recording studios with instructors and audio engineers who have active professional careers in the music industry. A PAVI education prepares you for a career in the music recording and audio engineering industry.

- The Film & Music Business program provides the technical and business education required to begin on a business career in the prospering film industry and rapidly expanding music industry. Learn the basics of film production and music production from our industry professionals, and specialize in the highly sought after business skills required in the entertainment industry.

- PAVI also offers an optional Internship Placement Program for all students.
