The International School Hannover Region is a co-educational day school enrolling students from Kindergarten (age 3) to grade 12 situated in Hannover, northern Germany. ISHR is the only International School in Lower Saxony following all three IB (International Baccalaureate) programmes: the PYP, the MYP and the IB Diploma Programme.
The International School Hannover Region is an independent school, which serves the multi-national community of the city of Hannover and its surrounding areas. ISHR belongs to the European Council of International Schools (ECIS), and to the Association of German International Schools (AGIS). In Germany the school has the status of a state recognized “Ergänzungsschule”.

We hire teachers with at least a university degree or equivalent, with teaching certificates obtained from their home country. Because we follow the British National Curriculum, we give more preference for UK trained teachers and National Curriculum experienced teachers.

The Bonn International School (BIS) is an independent, self-supporting, nonprofit association, located in Bonn, west Germany. BIS was created in 1997 from the merger of 3 well-established and successful schools in Bonn: The Bonn American High School, the British High School Bonn, and the Bonn American Elementary School.
BIS offers an English language program from ages 2-18 including a Playschool program for 2 year olds and an Early Learning Center (ELC) for ages 3 and 4 that complements the kindergarten through grade 12 program. BIS is a regular member of the European Council of International Schools (ECIS), the Association of German International Schools (AGIS) and authorized as an International Baccalaureate World School.

The Frankfurt International School (FIS), was founded in 1961, is an independent, co-educational day school, which offers an educational program from playschool, pre-primary through grade 12 for students of all nationalities. Programs for children aged 3 to 11 (through grade 6) are offered at the ISW campus near Frankfurt in south west Germany.
FIS is recognised as an allgemeinbildende Ergänzungsschule. There are currently over 1750 students from 55 different countries attending FIS and ISW, including 31% American, 17% German, 12% British, 5% Japanese, 6% Korean. The annual turnover of expatriate pupils ranges between 20% of the total student body.

Located in Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia in western Germany, International School of Dusseldorf was founded in 1968 and has over 40 years of experience with expatriate students and their families. ISD was one of the first schools to be authorized for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. It is now an IB World School with the same IB philosophy throughout the school and with programmes for grades 6 to 12 (International Baccalaureate Middle and Diploma Years Programme) and for Reception to grade 5 (International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme).
The International Baccalaureate (IB) curricula are transportable and students can often join other IB schools without any difficulty. English ist the main language of instruction. To non-native students whose English is not strong enough to fully participate in class, ISD gives strong English as Second Language support. A Mother Tongue program gives students the opportunity to continue to improve their mother tongue. ISD is the only school in Düsseldorf that carries full accreditation by the Council of International Schools. ISD also is fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, USA.

Founded as an English international family institution in 1985 in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia in west Germany, St. George’s is a day and boarding school catering for children ranging in age from 2-18 years.
