Mandarin Chinese Classes in San Francisco

ABC Languages, San Francisco:
Learning a foreign language can be a fun, relaxed and social pursuit. At ABC Languages, a premiere language institute in downtown San Francisco, we strive to provide top quality lessons, while also creating a multi-linguistic, multi-national atmosphere of students who come after work, during the day, weekends or any time to learn the language of their choice. We also teach Chinese at our school in Menlo Park (serving Silicon Valley and Peninsula region of San Francisco Bay Area, including San Jose, Palo Alto, and Sunnyvale).

Chinese Language Programs:
ABC Languages offers group lessons in Mandarin Chinese, beginner through advanced levels. We also offer children's Mandarin lessons privately or as a customized group or after-school program. Private Cantonese lessons are also available.

Total Beginner Mandarin Chinese & Cantonese Group Classes:
Acquire basic grammar and vocabulary to develop basic conversational and practical skills. Total Beginner classes are designed for people with no previous exposure to the language. If you have some background in the language, or if you already speak more than one language, we will evaluate you first so that we can send you a personalized recommendation based on your background.

Standard Mandarin Chinese & Cantonese Classes meet once a week for 1.5 hours. (Minimum 3 / Maximum 10 students).

Above Beginner Mandarin Chinese & Cantonese Group Classes:
If you are not a total beginner, you will need to be evaluated before confirming your enrollment in a class.

Private Mandarin Chinese & Cantonese Lessons:
Private lessons mean you can learn at your own pace and according to your own schedule. One-on-one lessons are also the most intensive way to immerse yourself in a foreign language. You may set up any day or time for your classes, including weekends and evening hours. The lessons may be held at your Manhattan office, home or at our language institute. Students meet with their private teacher from once a week to every day. Total immersion courses are ideal for people relocating to a foreign country and may include a cross-cultural training component.

Virtual Mandarin Chinese & Cantonese Lessons:
Virtual language lessons mean learning a language from the comfort of your own home or office. No travel time, no rushing to make it to class. Virtual language lessons are one-on-one, private lessons with your own teacher. You learn a foreign language with an Internet connection, web camera and audio headset. Just log in to Skype and meet your teacher virtually at a time convenient for you.
