Since 1994, Colorado School of English has offered flexible scheduling & open enrollment English as a Second Language programs to international students from all over the world. In our friendly atmosphere, you will learn English and reach you own objective as quickly and as efficiently as possible. Our English instructors are dedicated and experienced. The maximum class size is 12 students, with the average being 8-10 students.

ESL Programs
Intensive English Program
You will study conversation, listening skills, grammar, vocabulary and writing. The Intensive English Program is made up of small, friendly classes with an average of 10 students per class. This ensures that you will have many opportunities to speak, ask questions, and have your mistakes corrected. The Intensive English Program is accelerated. This means that students may advance through the levels at any pace. You can move to the advanced level as quickly as possible, and you won't have to wait for the end of a term. You can start at a beginning level and graduate from the advanced level in just 6 months. The Intensive English Program allows open entry and open exit. You can begin any Monday and finish anytime. Some students come to Colorado School of English to study for 2 weeks, others stay for a full year.
TOEFL / TOEIC preparation for students at high intermediate and advanced English levels
A high score on the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is an essential step in being admitted to graduate or undergraduate programs at most U.S. colleges and universities. At CSE we use the latest technology to help students polish the language skills needed for the exam and generally make them smarter test takers. Exam preparation for TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) is also available.
Business English courses
Business English courses are designed to meet the needs of the individual Business professional. Courses are for those in business who have an overall understanding of English and who wish to specifically improve their English for their business purposes. Business courses help to improve overall business communication skills and business terminology.
ESL programs for Executives, Lawyers, Doctors
We offer intensive English programs which are designed specifically for exectutives, doctors or lawyers. The goal of the course is to help students improve their comprehension and expression of American English as it pertains to their profession while increasing the participants' understanding of American culture.
English teacher training program – TESL / TEFL Certificate
This program will give you the skills and resources you need to be able to walk into any type of ESL/EFL teaching situation. You’ll learn dynamic techniques which allow you to teach students of any nationality. You do not need to speak a foreign language. You’ll learn to teach English in English using these interesting techniques and methods. You’ll also get 30 hours of practice teaching. This valuable teaching experience will help you gain confidence and skill.
