A+ Certification Training Courses - Career Options

Qualification you will have:
CompTIA A+ certification is an internationally recognised
"vendor neutral" certification for IT support professionals, which means that it covers Microsoft as well as Linux models. It is a well rounded qualification which proves to employers that the technician has the ability to perform tasks such as basic networking, diagnosing, installations and configuration. The exam also covers soft skills along with security and safety.
What it involves:
This exam has no prerequisites and to gain certification you must pass the A+ Essentials exam and one elective exam. Candidates must choose between IT technician, Remote support technician, or Depot technician as their elective exam. This will allow the candidate to specialize and further their career in one of these areas. Exams consist of multiple choice questions where there may be more than one correct answer.
Career options:
This exam is suitable for people looking for a career as a helpdesk technician, computer support professional, or IT technician.
Benefits offered:
On successful completion of the A+ exam candidates may continue to study for the A+/Network+ or A+/Server+ certification which in turn can be used as the elective exam for the MCSA certification. |
