 La Escuela Del Sol in Costa Rica is an
immersion program for people who want to learn
Spanish fast while having an adventure in a
tropical paradise. We're located in Montezuma, a
picturesque little town known for its tranquility, its beauty and its sense of
adventure, on the eastern tip of the Nicoya
Peninsula in Costa Rica.
Studying in Montezuma will give you the chance
to practice with the locals and improve upon
your learning in a fun, supportive and beautiful
environment. Our school & hotel are right across
the street from the ocean and just minutes walk
from one of the most beautiful beaches you’ll
ever see. On one side of our school & hotel, we
graze the Montezuma river, which leads to three
separate waterfalls. On the other side, we’re
nestled by the tropical rain forest.
Whether this is your first attempt to learn the
language or the culmination of a lifelong quest,
Costa Rica is an unbeatable place to study
Spanish. “Ticos,” world famous for their spirit
of life and hospitality are also well known for
what’s widely agreed upon, as the “cleanest” and
most understandable accent of all Spanish
speaking countries. All of our teachers have achieved
college degrees and teach a university level
curriculum to guarantee you a top of the line
education.Programs
We offer a 1 to 4 week, college level, Spanish
language program as well as additional courses
for adventure and self enhancement. Those
courses currently include surfing, yoga and poi
(fire twirling)
