 Enforex offers Spanish language courses in Flamingo Beach,
Heredia and Monteverde. The Flamingo Beach school is located on the waterfront,
facing the marina, at the entrance of the town
of Flamingo. Classes are held in a new complex
with 15 classrooms, a garden area, kitchen,
video room, common area and a pool with a patio.
Capacity is 70 students a day and participants
are mainly from the United States and Canada,
although many nationalities are represented. Accommodation is with host families (homestay) and
activities are an optional part of the program. For all levels, beginners to
advanced, start any week of the year. For ages 18 upwards.
Flamingo Beach is a tiny resort town with many
foreign residents located in the beautiful
province of Guanacaste (population approximately
32.000) on the Pacific coast. The beach has
beautiful white sand and is one of the nicest in
the country. The reduced number of tourists in
the area and the small size of the town make it
ideal for those students seeking a more
personalized experience with the language and
culture of the country.
A wide variety of extra curricular activities
are offered to all students. Some activities are
free while others may require a fee. Some
examples of activities are: Dance class, cooking
class, movies, lectures, and disco night.
Planned half day excursions (2 per week) offered
with a tour guide (Boat safari on Río Corobici,
horseback riding in a private reserve, visit to
Guaitil: a local artisan community, other
beaches further away, during turtle season trip
to Playa Grande to see turtles lay their eggs).
Weekend trips most common destinations: Arenal
Volcano, Rincon de la Vieja Volcano (& boat
safari), Monteverde, Palo Verde, Santa Rosa.Courses
Mini-group Intensive -
20 hours/week & Mini-group Super intensive - 30 hours/week courses can
be taken in small groups (max. 5 students/class) or students can take
individual classes - 20 hours/week.
