English Language Refresher Course for Teachers
This course is intended for all teachers of all subjects who are working or intending to work in bilingual or multilingual schools. The course is explicity aimed at all subject teachers other than qualified English teachers. This 2-week, 30 hour course blends 15 hours of general English refresher and enhancement modules with 15 hours of 'hands-on' exploration of sutting-edge techniques to make the classroom experiencemore vibrant and rewarding for both teahcer and students.
School Group Courses
These are closed group courses and are based on a minimum of 10 students. These run from September to June only. Students are tested and placed in a group according to linguistic ability. These courses are particularly suited to school groups and combine with social and cultural programmes in the afternoons and weekends.
Individual Winter Courses
As well as our superb range of summer courses MLI is delighted to offer our individual students year round tuition with a great range of courses provide. These courses are available from September to June to all students aged 15 years and up. We can also provide our students with accommodation in one of our many host families who are more than willing to offer a warm Irish welcome to our students.
Adult Summer Courses Dublin
We have designed a communicative, task-based 2/3 week programme, especially for adults, which covers: grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading and writing with a strong Irish cultural flavour. There is a special focus on communicative group activities and topics selected by the students in conjunction with the teachers. MLI's teaching approach strives to maximise student speaking opportunities with lively, fun-filled, 'real life' course content.
