Learn Spanish in Ecuador, on the northwestern coast of South America with Languages in Action, at our Spanish school in Quito. Quito, the capital city, is situated 2,850 meters (9,350 feet) above sea level, in a picturesque valley surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Andes. Quito is one of the most beautiful, richest, and oldest cities in South America. Due to its pleasant climate, Quito is often described as "The City of Eternal Spring." Fought over by the Incas and conquered by the Spanish in 1534, the city has an eventful history. With its stately colonial palaces, the downtown historical district has been declared a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site.
Our Spanish language school in Quito is situated in the modern part of the city and offers excellent learning conditions in a large, bright schoolhouse situated on over 300 square meters of land. Upon request, you can also learn Spanish in the open air environment of our garden or on one of our shady terraces.

Ecuador, with almost 14 million people, is located on the Pacific Coast in the northeast of South America, and shares its northern boundary with Colombia and the eastern and southern boundaries with Peru. Located near the Panama Canal, Ecuador is within easy reach of the USA, Canada and Japan, as well as Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela and Argentina.
The Languages in Action Spanish school in Quito has 12 classrooms, large kitchen, garden, 3 terraces, TV and DVD room. We have a great view of Quito and are centrally located in a residential area close to malls and stores.
