Ecuador is a country of extraordinary beauty and
immensely varied scenery: combining the
jungles of the Amazon with the plateaus of the
Andes and the tropical beaches of the Pacific.
Ecuador offers a range of different
possibilities for volunteer work. This could be
teaching English in a poor neighborhood, working
with street/working children, planting trees in
the cloud-or rain forest, helping indigenous
groups to organize their own tourism projects,
working in kindergartens, helping out in the
marketing of local handicrafts, or agricultural
