Courses: Our language schools offer
Complete Beginner, Basic, Elementary,
Intermediate and Advanced Spanish level courses
that focus on the four key language skill areas
of speaking, listening, reading and writing,
while considerable attention is also placed on
pronunciation, oral communication and the
appropriate usage of language in daily
situations.
Our school provides individual or group courses, intensive Spanish training,
private Spanish lessons, Spanish for Business,
Medical Spanish, Spanish Immersion Homestay
program - stay with a Ecuadorian family. All
courses provide a Certificate of Achievement
upon completion. Activities include: Dance
classes, cooking classes, fiestas, excursions.
Location:
Ecuador, with almost 14 million people, is
located on the Pacific Coast in the northeast of
South America, and shares its northern boundary
with Colombia and the eastern and southern
boundaries with Peru. Located near the Panama
Canal, Ecuador is within easy reach of the USA,
Canada and Japan, as well as Mexico, Brazil,
Venezuela and Argentina.
 The majestic Andes mountain range runs through
the country from north to south, creating four
distinct regions - the Andean highlands; the
coastal plains; the Upper Amazon Basin; and the
Galapagos Islands (622 miles off the Pacific
Coast).
Ecuador boasts diversity in both land structure
and culture. Find yourself in steam-filled
tropical rainforests in the midst of billows of
brightly tinted butterflies one day, and in the
highland market below ice-capped volcanoes,
chatting with scarlet-ponchoed indigenous people
the next. Have the opportunity to visit the
Galapagos Islands, where Charles Darwin
researched his survival of the fittest theories,
or you can enjoy the city life in the capital
city of Quito or in the city of Guayaquil, both
boasting wonderfully preserved colonial-style
buildings mixed with cosmopolitan areas which
demonstrate their ability to be world-class
destinations.
Quito, the capital city, is situated
2,850 meters (9,350 feet) above sea level, in a
picturesque valley surrounded by the majestic
peaks of the Andes. Quito is one of the most
beautiful, richest, and oldest cities in South
America. Due to its pleasant climate, Quito is
often described as "The City of Eternal Spring."
Fought over by the Incas and conquered by the
Spanish in 1534, the city has an eventful
history. With its stately colonial palaces, the
downtown historical district has been declared a
UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site.
Our Spanish language school in Quito is situated
in the modern part of the city and offers
excellent learning conditions in a large, bright
schoolhouse situated on over 300 square meters
of land. Upon request, you can also learn
Spanish in the open air environment of our
garden or on one of our shady terraces. All of
our instructors are native speakers who have a
university degree as well as extensive
experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign
language. Continual training ensures a teaching
staff whose lessons satisfy the highest
criteria.
