Business Spanish in Latin America - Ecuador Language School
ACLAS (Andean Center for Latin American Studies)
is a non-profit, educational and cultural
organization dedicated to a Learning for Life
philosophy. Our main activities include:
teaching Spanish as a second language and
English as a foreign language; planning and
implementing language and culture immersion
programs for foreign universities; and,
designing customized language courses for
national and international students and
businesses with specialized needs. We also
provide instruction in other languages (European
and indigenous) and courses related to Latin
America's realities (anthropology, sociology,
ecology, environmental studies).
ACLAS offers an innovative, deep immersion
Spanish program for foreign university students
majoring in Business Administration at the
undergraduate level. The program combines
Spanish language study with the opportunity to
learn about business management in Latin
America. Students will also learn about the
culture/lifestyle behind Latin American business
by living with an Ecuadorian family (homestay
program) and by experiencing Ecuador through
adventure tourism.Courses
Spanish for Business: This is a four-month
program. During the first two months, students
attend an intense Spanish immersion course
involving five hours of language instruction
daily. For the last two months, students have
three hours of specialized business classes and
two hours of Spanish instruction per day.
