The Apu Inty Spanish School was established in May, 2001 in Quito, northern Ecuador. Students from all over the world attend our school, where they enjoy a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where we focus on the need of each student.

Our personalized, student-centered methodology is based on individual interests, needs and learning styles. You will learn Spanish with up-to-date textbooks and additional materials suitable for practice purposes, such as cassettes and video tapes.

Regular homework assignments will help to gain a deeper understanding of the course material and to ensure that every student can maintain the class’s pace. Your teacher will give you individual advice on exam preparation.

It is recognised by Ecuadorian Ministry of Education, (Reg.287 DINNEPP) providing a suitable learning environment for students from around the world seeking to learn/improve their Spanish.

As a student at Apu Inty, you will have the chance to explore Quito's fascinating colonial city with our free city excursions, cheer side-by-side with locals at soccer-games and learn more about Ecuadorian culture by participating in our weekly Latin dancing and cooking lessons.

All of our teachers are highly experienced in teaching Spanish to foreigners. Each holds a university degree in Spanish and Literature, or other related subjects, as a minimum requirement.

Stay with an Ecuadorian family to experience full cultural immersion during your studies in the Apu Inty Spanish Program. By sharing the home of an Ecuadorian family, students have a valuable insight into the life and culture of our country. They not only learn how we speak, but also how we think.

Our host families meet the needs of our students. Students can request special arrangements, such as to be placed with a non-smoking or pet-free family, and can have special diets prepared for them. Please include your family preferences on your application and we will assign an appropriate family to you.

All students have a single furnished room, full board and weekly laundry service. The maximum distance between the host family and the school is 20 minutes, either walking or by bus.
