Our main school is located in London's exciting and vibrant West End � situated on Oxford Street, the famous shopping street in the heart of Central London, close to lively restaurants, cafes and entertainment venues. We are very near to Oxford Circus Underground station (sometimes called 'Tube', 'Subway' or 'Metro'). In the beautiful city of Oxford students can experience the history of the world famous Oxford University along with all the youthful energy and variety of entertainment choices this University City has to offer. In Stratford-upon-Avon, the tranquil birthplace of Shakespeare, students can relax in the garden and enjoy badminton, table tennis and summer barbeques. The atmosphere is informal and friendly, providing an excellent environment for study.
Our Reception staff will be pleased to advise you about travel passes and the best fares and transport options. We can arrange a taxi airport transfer service from any of London's 4 international airports: Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton. The taxi will take you directly from the airport to your accommodation.
Oxford House College is a member of two professional associations: the European Association for Quality Language Services (EAQUALS), and EnglishUK. The College is an official centre for University of Cambridge ESOL and Trinity College, London ESOL examinations, and an accredited Centre for Microsoft, Oxford Cambridge RSA (OCR) and City and Guilds computing examinations. We also organise London Chamber of Commerce examinations.
Courses:Our long experience in teaching students with different English levels will give you the best opportunity to practise and improve your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, and your knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. We offer many kinds of English language course, including General English, Cambridge Examinations, IELTS, Business English and more. You can even choose to combine your English language learning with training in Travel & Tourism, The Arts and Computing.
Facilities:
The College has a well-equipped Library, open from 08:30 – 19:30. Our Library staff will be delighted to give you advice in selecting the most appropriate books, cassettes or multimedia materials to help you with your studies.
The Library also has lots of information about London, such as travel, places to visit and nightlife. The Library also acts as a study and resource centre - you can study there before or after your lessons, and you can borrow books and other resources to continue your studies at home.
You can keep in touch with your friends and family and surf the World Wide Web in our Broadband Internet area on the first floor of the College.
Student Café Bar is a popular meeting place for our students and staff. You can get delicious hot and cold meals and drinks, all at very reasonable prices.

Social Events Programme
We organise a full and fun packed programme of paid and free social activities for our students, including sports, exciting nights out in London, and regular excursions to places of historic and cultural interest around Britain. A teacher always accompanies students on social activities.
All students are members of the International Students’ House, a private club offering an excellent range of sports and social activities.
Accommodation:
Our hostel in central London is within walking distance of our school and perfectly located for exploring the city’s many attractions. Our hostel has basic facilities in clean, furnished rooms. Your room will have a desk, wardrobe and television. Laundry facilities are available. You share kitchen and shower facilities with other students. Meals are not provided. A staff member is available 24 hours a day for emergencies
Homestay Accommodation
You will benefit more from your stay in London if you stay in Homestay accommodation carefully selected by our Accommodation Officer.
You will feel at home and be able to practise your English in friendly surroundings. We can arrange Homestay for you in London Zones 2 - 6.
You will have your own room, and you can choose between 3 meals options: self catering (you cook for yourself), breakfast only, or breakfast and dinner.
