Gunnersbury
Catholic School (Science College) in London is a
Voluntary Aided School for Catholic boys. Gunnersbury It takes six
forms of entry at 11+ and is administered by a Board of Governors
acting under the trusteeship of the Archdiocese of Westminster.
Gunnersbury Catholic school is one of the top performing schools in
the country; Student results are consistently high. The annual
intake is 184 pupils and the total number of
pupils on roll is 1132, including a Sixth Form
of 205 boys and 25 girls. There is a staff of 67
teachers, 6 technical assistants, 6
administrative staff and 3 caretakers. The
school has a well equipped Library and Learning
Resource Centre with an associated Private Study
Area.
Although located in the London Borough of
Hounslow in West London, Gunnersbury considers
itself a Diocesan School and draws from a wide
catchment area consisting mainly of the London
Boroughs of Hounslow, Ealing and Richmond, but
some pupils attend from even further afield
coming from Central London, Brent, Hillingdon,
Spelthorne and Harrow.
Public transport is good, the school is only
five minutes walk from Northfields and Boston
Manor tube station (Piccadilly Line) and
Brentford SR Station and there are good local
bus services, all of which give quick access to
the many facilities London has to offer. There
are many pleasant residential areas nearby.Courses
