Enrol in short or long term courses at our English school in Edinburgh and achieve fluency, enhance your academic profile or improve your career prospects. Each course has a special focus to suit your particular language needs, and you can further personalise courses through electives and supplementary study sessions. 


General English (20 classes + 7 structured study sessions/week)
Our General English course is a semi-intensive programme which allows you to balance comprehensive classroom tuition with structured study and free time activities. The General English lessons focus on the four core principles of: Listening, Writing, Reading and Speaking English.


Intensive English (28 classes + 7 structured study sessions/week)
Our Intensive English program is the fastest way to achieve fluency in English.  It combines General English classes and structured study sessions with elective lessons which might include current affairs, Business English, local culture,  film studies and exam preparation.


Business English (28 classes + 7 structured study sessions/week)
Our Business English course teaches essential English language skills to help you communicate effectively in a range of business contexts. Topics
can include participation in meetings, writing skills in business situations and interview techniques.


Vacation English (20 classes/week)
Vacation English is our least intensive course option, helping you to improve your English language skills but leaving you with plenty of free time for sightseeing and leisure activities. The Kaplan Aspect optional activities program will give the opportunity to explore the highlights of your host country in your spare time.

• Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) exam preparation
• Cambridge First Certificate in Engligh (FCE) exam preparation (20 classes + 7 structured study sessions/week)
