The sixth largest city in the USA and one of the most scenic towns in California, San Diego is the perfect location to study English. La Jolla is filled with local charm and natural beauty, and has been compared to the Italian Riviera with its seven miles of white sand beaches, fabulous shopping and exquisite views. Enjoy the city’s many attractions, including the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, the Wild Animal Park and Balboa Park, while studying at our San Diego language school.

Location and Facilities:

Classrooms
There are 6 medium sized classrooms that can seat up to 15 students each. There is access to satellite television in some of the classrooms.

Multimedia and IT centre
There are computers in the multimedia centre along with a vast collection of learning software for students’ use. The multimedia centre is a great place to utilize technology to maximize your learning. Students with laptops are welcome to use our free wireless internet service.

Library
A small selection of books is available on site for students who like to read fiction. Students can use the several public libraries as well as the university library in San Diego. Students may also ask teachers for specific publications.

Student Lounge
The student lounge is bright, airy and seats up to 20 students. It is equipped with café-style tables, a couch, a telephone, vending machines, a microwave oven and a refrigerator.

Cafeteria
There are vending machines selling drinks and snacks and students can eat in the student lounge.

Sports facilities
There are no on-site sports facilities. Basketball and tennis courts are walking distance from the school. Bay Pointe apartments have an outdoor swimming pool and 2 jacuzzis and exercise facilities including treadmills, bikes and weights, and lighted tennis and basketball courts.

Gym facilities
Several gym facilities with short-term membership options are within walking distance of the school and the student apartments.

Activities/Social Programme
Kaplan Aspect plans a busy schedule of activities each month including trips to San Francisco, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. There are also days at Sea World and the famous San Diego Zoo.
