Skinner Creek ESL Guest Ranch and ESL Summer Camp:
Skinner Creek ESL Guest Ranch and ESL Summer Camp have unique programs designed for international students and adults. Each student will experience the ultimate in outdoor adventures combined with an intensive English program. Skinner Creek ESL Guest Ranch is located in the heart of beautiful British Columbia, Canada, surrounded by high mountains, sparkling lakes, thick forests and flowing rivers. Skinner Creek ESL Guest Ranch offers a cozy atmosphere for all guests. The ranch has a maximum capacity of 16, providing wonderful opportunity for interaction and attention for each student. All programs are flexible and can be modified to suit each group or individual. At Skinner Creek, we offer long term / homestay programs that will be specifically made for each individual.

Learn English in an envirornment entirely different from a regular school setting. English classes are designed to meet the academic and conversational levels of each student, with approximately 15 hours of class time per week. Students will be challenged in grammar, reading, writing, vocabulary building, with the greatest stress on conversational English.

Spring/Summer and Fall offer the best assortment of activities. Our price is all inclusive of all activities, including daily horseback riding. Horseback riding is our most popular activity and no experience is necessary. We will train you in horse safety and trail riding. Start with a 1 hour trip and work up to 6 hours. There is no addtional cost for riding lessons or longer rides.

Students or adults that would like to greatly improve their English skills benefit from living in an all English environment. With the long term / homestay, guests have more opportunities to practice what they are learning. One on one English tutoring is available as well as learning outdoor skills. Our longterm / homestay program is the perfect opportunity for a youth or an adult to come and be a part of a loving, Canadian family and have fun while learning.
