Hessen International Day And Boarding School:
Our school is a day and boarding school, for boys and girls. Grades: Pre K - 12, currently to grade 4. (upper classes will be added each year). Hessen International School is situated in beautiful modern buildings in the Otto-Volger Street, Sulzbach / Taunus in the north west of Frankfurt Main. We offer full residential facilities to children from the age of 5 years. English is the language of instruction. ESL is taught from year 1 to year 10. German for native speakers is offered from preschool.

The Foundation SBoarding Schools / IB Collegestage:
The Foundation Stage includes Nursery (3–4 year olds) and Reception (4-5 year olds). During this time the children playfully learn and develop their speaking, listening, dancing, singing, stories and counting. They learn through doing and by using all their five senses. They develop their basic skills which is necessary and useful for the start when they reach Year One. During Reception reading is introduced and children can take some books to read at home.

The key stage Four Curriculum
There are 10 subjects at Key Stage 4 (14-16 years old). These are the GCSE courses and consists of 4 core subjects namely English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Science and a foreign Language. The other 4 courses can be chosen from the a range of the other subjects.
The assessment of these courses is done at the end of Year 11 and results in the award of the GCSE Certificates.
