Universidad Carlos III De Madrid: The Department of Business Administration at Carlos III, consistently ranked first in Business Administration Studies in Spain, is committed to high quality teaching and research. Faculty members’ research has been published in journals like Administrative Science Quarterly, Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Management Science, Organization Science, Journal of Finance or The Accounting Review, among others. Graduate Studies The Department of Business Administration offers two types of graduate programs, which are either research-oriented or are designed for professional practice.
The Graduate Program in Business and Quantitative Methods is a research-oriented program that is jointly organized with the Department of Statistics at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. The language of instruction is English. The program is composed of a Master program, which consists of two years of coursework, and a PhD program, which lasts for approximately three years and consists of a supervised doctoral dissertation.
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master in Financial Analysis (MFA) are specifically designed for practitioners who wish to have access to better professional opportunities. Both programs are delivered in two languages, English and Spanish. The MBA program is one of the few Spanish MBAs that is accredited by the prestigious Association of MBAs (AMBA). The MFA provides in-depth training in finance and its curriculum prepares for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and European Financial Adviser (EFA) exams."
