Welcome to the WIT School of Business, a community of over 120 faculty members and almost 2,000 students engaged in many different activities but focused on just one goal - academic excellence for the real world. The ambition of our faculty and region has created Ireland's largest integrated Business School, incorporating undergraduate, postgraduate, executive, research and entrepreneurial education.
Over the last 30 years the School has earned its reputation through teaching excellence, the delivery of innovative values-led programmes, and ultimately through the recognition earned by our alumni in almost every walk of life. At the heart of the dynamic and exciting South-East region of Ireland, the School is a unique learning community, attracting outstanding students nationally and internationally. The Centre for Entrepreneurship, School of Business at Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) is one of the conduits of WIT's mission to be a major contributor to the economic growth and development of Ireland's South East region. With extensive expertise amongst its academic and research staff, in a wide range of disciplines, WIT is well resourced to be a key force in supporting, promoting and developing entrepreneurship in the region. The Centre for Entrepreneurship brings this expertise together in an open, flexible and collegiate manner. It provides a framework and environment for entrepreneurs, researchers, academics and policy makers/implementers to engage in a mutually complementary manner to support economic growth and development in the region.
