English For Business:
English for Business is a specialist language training provider on Jersey Island, specialising in verbal and written communication for international business. Situated in the English Channel between England and France, Jersey Island is a British Crown Dependency off the coast of Normandy, northern France. Together with Guernsey and some smaller islands, Jersey forms what are known as the Channel Islands. Jersey is wholly English-Speaking.

English for Business teachers are highly experienced in teaching all areas of Business English and Executive English. Our students are mainly management professionals and also undergraduate/ graduate students of business, management or finance.

Intensive English Courses:
• Our Intensive Business English course is designed to progress your Business English skills in a short space of time, using group activities carried out in the target language, in realistic business situations. The course covers topical stories in the business media, a wide range of business-specific vocabulary, the use of jargon and buzzwords, useful grammatical constructs to help you to sound more fluent and natural and more. Other language skills include: chairing and participating in meetings; challenging and dissenting; presenting information to small or large groups; letters, phone calls and emails.

• Intensive English for the Financial Services Industry: Designed to progress your Financial English skills in a short space of time, using group activities carried out in the target language, in realistic business situations. The course covers topical stories in the financial media, a wide range of business and financial-specific vocabulary, the use of jargon and buzzwords, useful grammatical constructs to help you to sound more fluent and natural and more.
Other language skills include: chairing and participating in meetings; challenging and dissenting; presenting information to small or large groups; and reading financial reports. Each course also includes a session on reading the Financial Times – the most widely recognised source of news from international financial markets. Unique to our Financial English courses, students will enjoy a boardroom lunch which will include a presentation from a leading speaker on financial services. Course delegates will have the chance to practice their listening skills in real-time as well as put questions to the speaker after the presentation.
