Executive Education Program & MBA Degree in Europe

The Program in Innovation & Business Creation combines the strengths of two top German universities − TUM - the Technische Universität München in Garching (Munich) and HHL - the Leipzig Graduate School of Management − with the entrepreneurial competences of UnternehmerTUM, the centre for entrepreneurship at TUM. In twelve months, you will run through an intense and rigorous executive program, develop high-performance leadership skills and master execution in company related innovation and business creation projects. The program combines sixty days of classroom teaching and training at the highest academic level with thirty weeks of innovation projects in your company or your start-up.

By systematically pushing forward innovations or ventures you will create value and expertise for your company or your own start-up. At the same time, participants will earn an Executive MBA degree, a sound theoretical foundation in how to innovate and build real businesses. This win-win situation will help you and your company move from a promising idea to a tested launch. Thanks to the combination of project and learning modules you and your company will benefit directly in two ways from the executive program. First, it is our goal to ensure that you are well prepared for the future challenges you will face as an innovator and business leader in your company. Second, we provide you with an environment where you can turn opportunities into a business, pursue organizational excellence and transfer cutting edge knowledge to your company.

The Executive Program in Innovation & Business Creation is located in Garching Technology and Entrepreneur Centre on the campus of Technische Universität München, Germany. The university campus has its own underground station and is only 20 minutes away from the Munich city centre. Learning Module 1 is taught at HHL in Leipzig, Germany.

Cultural Insights - Experience Silicon Valley:

An exciting aspect of the executive program that will help prepare you to become tomorrow’s technology entrepreneur or innovator, is the Silicon Valley Tour, offered through our partnership with the Intel Higher Education Program and Lester Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Haas School of Business of UC Berkeley. The tour will give you insights into moving technology out of research labs and into local communities. It will provide useful material for completing the last two modules focused on business creation.

You will learn about:
- Technology entrepreneurship and best practice methods
- Silicon Valley entrepreneurs and venture capitalists
- Local start-ups and high-tech companies
