Gastronomicom French Gastronomy School is located in the south of France in the coastal resort town of Cap d’Agde, on the Mediterranean seaside between Montpellier & Perpignan. Cap d’Agde is located close to Beziers Airport, about 120 km from the Spanish border. It is set in a wonderful landscape, with beautiful beaches, palm-trees, excellent Mediterranean food and the most important vineyard in Europe. The climate is extremely pleasant and very sunny year round.

French Lessons:
Our objective is to get you to be able to speak French as a professional language (kitchen, food & beverage, hospitality etc.) as well as a general language for the daily using (transports, shopping, tourism etc.). We also inten
d to introduce France to you and to impart to you something about French culture, French civilisation and French “way of life”.
The program depends on the average level of the different groups after evaluation (initiation, improvement, conversation) and their specialisation and can be conducted in English (for beginners) or in French. All programs include specific vocabulary, dialogs and typical expressions according to your specialisation as well as general vocabulary, texts and debates and also information about professional reality and daily life in France.
French & Wine Course:
A Gourmet Program
Length of the program : 4 weeks with 30 hours of lessons per week, including 15 hours French lessons and 15 hours French wine classes and tasting. All week-ends are free.
The Module of 4 weeks includes :
- 1st week: Viticulture and wine tasting
- 2nd week: Oenologie and wine making
- 3rd week: French Classic wine regions
- 4th week: the wine in the re
staurant, how to pair food and wine
A Gastronomic Program
Length of the program: 12 weeks with 30 hours of lessons per week, including 15 hours French lessons and 15 hours French wine classes and tasting. All week-ends are free and you have 1 week off to visit France. The Program is made of 3 modules of 4 weeks with the same organisation as the Gourmet Program Module.
Full Program
Length of the program: 12 weeks with 30 hours of lessons per week, including 15 hours French wine classes and tasting and 15 hours French lessons + 4 months Internship in a Luxury Hotel-restaurant in France. All the week-ends are free (except during the internship) and you have 1 week holidays to visit France.
