Total French immersion:
There are 6 main French proficiency levels:

Total Beginner
This level is for participants who have never learned French or who have learned a few words but cannot express themselves in complete sentences. Classes focus on introducing basic vocabulary, grammar, sentence structures, and simple texts. Phonetics exercises and drills ensure that participants learn correct pronunciation and intonation. The special Total Beginners program provides a good foundation to the language.

False Beginner
This level is for those who have learned a few words but cannot express themselves in complete sentences. Classes focus on building participants' vocabulary, grammar and sentence structures. Class work includes everyday topics and participants are encouraged to converse and express themselves using basic sentence structures

Elementary
This level is for those who have learned French, have a grasp of simple sentence structures, and have learned basic grammar systematically. Classes focus on improving participants' vocabulary, sentence structures, listening, reading, and speaking skills. Written exercises include composing simple letters, short essays and reports. Phonetics exercises and drills ensure that participants learn the correct pronunciation and intonation.

Intermediate
This level is for those who are able to converse on general topics and express themselves using sentence structures in French. Classes build on increasing the level of grammar and vocabulary, enabling participants to express themselves functionally in different contexts. Class work focuses on French current events, civilization, and literature to build vocabulary while at the same time developing a greater awareness of French culture and society. Emphasis is placed on participants' grammar, syntaxFrench Language Schools / Classes, writing, oral expression, and listening comprehension skills. Oral expression classes include discussions of current events. Exercises to improve writing, speaking, and grammar skills include writing reports, letters, narratives, and essays. Phonetics exercises and drills ensure that participants quickly master correct pronunciation.

Advanced
This level is for those who can discuss general topics, raise complex questions, and express their viewpoints clearly using correct pronunciation. Participants can express themselves systematically using appropriate expressions and language norms. The curriculum is focused on enabling participants to express themselves proficiently at an abstract level. Course literature includes French nonfiction, articles, and financial texts. To improve fluency, class work includes advanced writing and oral expression styles and techniques, such as commentaries, speeches and debates.

Proficient (Superior)
This level is for those who posses a high command of the French language and culture and are able to converse fluently and effectively using appropriate expressions and language norms. The curriculum is focused on enabling participants to master the language and express themselves in a proficient manner at an abstract level. Class work focuses on perfecting oral expression and writing skills and developing a global perspective of French culture in relation to participants' particular field of interest.

Other Programs:
Semi-Intensive
15 hours a week - Minimum of 2 weeks
The program is ideal for those interested in improving their communication proficiency especially oral skills. Class work using everyday topics and communicative teaching methods ensure that students achieve the goals of each proficiency level and progress rapidly.

Intensive French Courses
To cater for different needs, a range of different levels of intFrench Language Schools / Classesensity (Intensive A, B, C and D) and durations (Short Duration, Semester and Academic Year) are offered. Each Intensive class is 45 minutes long.

Business French
Intensive program, 26+16 classes a week.
The program is a one week course, for all levels, on a one to one basis (all year round) or in mini-groups (groups of 3 persons maximum!). It combines
the morning intensive course A (20h/week) + 4 afternoon workshops, from Tuesday to Friday (12 h/week). The 3 domains of specialization proposed are:
- French corporate system / French corporate environment, corporate business and culture
- French and Law
- Written and oral expression related to business life

Summer programs/camps for teens
13 to 17 year olds: 15 hours a week - Minimum of 2 weeks
This all-inclusive residential program designed for teenagers is available in July and August at two campuses. French language classes combined with after class sports and leisure activities, and cultural excursions, make this an ideal summer vacation. Accommodation at the residence and meals (breakfast, lunch, an afternoon snack, and dinner) are included. Participants receive 3 hours of French classes each morning and participate in activities or excursions in the afternoon. The activities offered may include theatre, basketball, soccer, and volleyball. One full day and three half-day excursions are held weekly, and may include visits to famous attractions, such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Louvre Museum, and Disneyland Paris.

One to One private lessons
Minimum 5 hours a week - Open duration. Start on any Monday.
As classes are private, students are able to decide on the content. Participants may also request to study a particular topic of interest including French for business, finance, law or medicine. One to one classes are 45 minutes long.

French for Teachers
- Intensive program, 26 classes a week
- 1 to 4 weeks (depending on start date selected)
- Advanced to Proficient Levels
This program is designed for teachers of French as a foreign language who wish to enhance their teaching techniques, develop their knowledge and skills and adapt to the ever-changing teaching contexts, with the aim of improving their classroom and teaching practices. Teachers will be updated with cultural developments in France, discover new tools and teaching materials and introduced to a wide range of classroom activities and techniques.
The French for Teachers Program consists of i) core classes, ii) workshops and iii) cultural activities. Participants choose from a variety of complementary and independent topics offered each week (see below for schedule). Core classes are held from 9.30am to 12.30pm, Monday to Friday, and workshops are held from 2.15pm to 5.15pm each Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Small classes have an average of 8 to 10 students per class and no more than 14 students.
