Contact Page - French & Wine Course in the South of France Gastronomicom:Gastronomicom French Gastronomy School is located in the south of France in the coastal resort town of Cap d’Agde, on the Mediterranean seaside between Montpellier & Perpignan. Cap d’Agde is located close to Beziers Airport, about 120 km from the Spanish border. It is set in a wonderful landscape, with beautiful beaches, palm-trees, excellent Mediterranean food and the most important vineyard in Europe. The climate is extremely pleasant and very sunny year round. Certificate Course: French wines (in English) + intensive French language classes - The course takes 4 weeks with 25 hours of lessons per week, including wine tasti ng and visits to wine cellars. All the week-ends are free to go sightseeing. We also run a similar length course for French cooking (in English) + intensive French language classes, and French pastry & and sugar decoration + intensive French classes.The Gourmet Program: 1 Month Wines Course: French + French wines lessons+ wines tasting+ visit of Languedoc Roussillon vineyards - We offer a Gourmet program for 4 weeks with 30 hours of lessons per week, including 15 hours French wines classes and 15 hours French lessons. One visit of Vineyard is organized every week. All weekends are free. The Module of 4 weeks includes: - 1st week: Tasting Initiation, the bases of the wines, the vocabulary, the Languedoc Roussillon Wines - 2nd week: Several wines tasting, Burgundy Wines - 3rd week: Red and white grape varieties - 4th week: Vinification technics, Champagne Wines The Gastronomic Program: - We offer a Gastronomic program for 12 weeks with 30 hours of lessons per week, including 15 hours French wines classes and 15 hours French lessons. One visit of Vineyard is organized every week. All weekends are free. The 12 weeks program includes: - All the Gourmet Program + - The Rhone Valley Wines+ wine tastings - The Loire Valley Wines+ wine tastings - The Alsace Wines+ wine tastings - The Jura and Savoy Wines + wine tastings - How to pair food and wines - How to build a Wine list - How to buy wines - How to serve the wines Entry Requirements: You are between 18 and 60 years old, and very motivated by food and beverage. You want also to learn French language or simply improve your French. European students don’t need any visa. Other students only need a Tourist Visa.
