 Altiplano Training Summer School
Altiplano Training offers a unique French
summer school for children and adults in Mens in the south east of France.
Prefaucon Farm provides a stimulating,
and friendly and fun environment which
allows you to develop your linguistic ability.
After your French lessons you will put what you
learn into practice by living and eating with a
French family, and learning about the French way
of life. Mens is located 40min south of Grenoble
and 2 hrs south of Lyon. Here you stay with
a local family, discuss life & politics and
farming and 'Europe', and enjoy the
atmosphere and live music in the cafés.
Adults can also take craft courses in pottery, felt-making,
watercolour painting, painting furniture,
organic cookery, medicinal plants and “green”
construction techniques are all possible: all in
French! Popular sports and activities include
walking, mountain biking, windsurfing & kite
surfing, horse riding and paragliding. Courses
in these sports are also available.

A
5-day immersion course where you are immersed in
French life and culture (7 nights accommodation).
Children are looked after by their own French
language teacher and have their own program of
activities and classes with local children, each
day, so they learn to use the French language
naturally. There will be 2 groups of approximate
ages 6-9, then 10+, each group with their own teacher and
their own independent study program. Adults can
also study the French language with us or help
out on the farm, or follow their own activity
program. |

 Assoc. Cuisine et Tradition
Situated in the friendly city of Arles, in the center of Provence, we offer a special 2 week course combining intensive French instruction (30 hours), cooking classes, wine tasting, excursions, and many a lively evening with friends around the dinner table. Accommodations are provided in our bed and breakfast, located right in the historic center, an easy 10 minute walk from the train station. You can put your French to use right away with cooking classes, wine tastings and more. And don't be surprised if local shop-keepers join in to help you too!

Our French Language study for food lovers is a marvelous introduction to France and its beautiful language. Every morning you'll have 3 hours of instruction in small groups (no more than 6). Each day either lunch or dinner will be included, with our friends and colleagues joining us to encourage conversation. |

 Edu-Culture International (ECI)
Edu-Culture International (ECI) is a non-profit educational organization run by professionals with advanced degrees in education, based in the San Francisco Bay Area of California with offices in the USA and Europe. We specialize in summer study abroad and exchange programs for high school students, and have exciting summer trips based in Lyon, Aix-en-Provence and Toulouse. These study trips provide unique opportunities for pre-college teens to learn French in France and offer the choice of staying with host families or in university-style dormitories. ECI’s French immersion programs last from 3 to 4 weeks, with the first 2-3 weeks including language classes. The morning classes are small, interactive, fun and usually include other international students. After lunch, there are a variety of supervised activities like kayaking, soccer, visits to the beach or to nearby villages and towns, cooking classes and more. After dinner we enjoy concerts, dancing, movies, and other social activities. Of course, there’s plenty of free time for students to get together with friends to explore their own interests – getting a taste of independence and college life is an important part of the experience. Our French study trips also include travel to some of the most beautiful places in France – Paris, Nice, St Tropez, Carcassonne, Cassis, Annecy, Avignon and more! We always choose high quality, centrally located hotels and professional bilingual guides. Each group is comprised of 30 students and 3 full-time chaperones.
