The objective of this program is to prepare students who are capable of applying computational and quantitative methodologies to a wide variety of subject areas, who can communicate their knowledge efficiently, and who can work and study in interdisciplinary teams. We aim to enable students to understand the theoretical underpinnings of the field of computing and software development, and to prepare them to work and continue to learn in a field in which radical change is the normal condition.
