American Section Lycée International
Located in St. Germain en Laye, in the western suburbs of Paris, the American Section is one of twelve international sections within the Lycée International. There are close to 700 students in the American Section. Ranging in ages from 4 to 18, students are spread over three campuses (Lycée International, College Marcel Roby and Ecole Primaire Schnapper). There are limited places available in any given academic year. Students are admitted on the basis of their academic achievement, English language proficiency and extra-curricular activities and interests. Status: Private American program within French public system. Language: English/French bilingual with special adaptation year for non-French speakers.

Pre-Kindergarten through senior high school: Students simultaneously pursue first-rate American and French curricula within the framework of one of the most successful schools in France. The leaving exam is the OIB American Option. It is possible for students who do not speak French to enter the Français Spécial (FS) program. Highly motivated students follow a French immersion curriculum that allows them to integrate regular French classrooms after one year.
