 Language in Provence provides quality French courses for adults of all nationalities from the age of 18. The school is located in the glorious village of St Saturnin lès Apt in the Luberon Valley in Provence. The area is famous for its history and culture. The historic hilltop villages of Gordes, Roussillon and Bonnieux are within a few minutes drive and the famous cities of Avignon and Aix-en-Provence are close by. Summer festivals and exhibitions take place throughout the area from April to October and every Saturday throughout the year the local town of Apt has one of the most stunning markets in France.
Our teachers are fully-qualified native speakers who have had many years experience of the problems of learners and are well-equipped to guide them through these difficulties. Language in Provence offers a supportive, encouraging and dynamic framework for learning French with a strong emphasis on oral communication.Courses
The school offers year-round immersion, intensive and specialist French courses in small groups of maximum 6 students or on an individual basis. Our courses are suitable for both students looking for a study holiday or for those wishing to use the language for professional purposes. Immersion courses include accommodation with private bathroom and bed, breakfast and dinner with a carefully-selected local French host within a few minutes walk of the school. A relaxed daily lunch at the school is provided for students to maximise their use of the language. Immersion courses include a half-day excursion in the area. Also French language + Ceramics, French language + Guided Walks. |
