Join Edu-Culture International (ECI) for the experience of lifetime! Travel with us to France for 3-4 weeks while taking intensive language classes. You will have the choice of a program where you stay with a host family or in a dorm, and all course include the chance to meet teens from all over the world. We offer you the opportunity to change your life in a few short weeks! Experience local culture and make friends you'll never forget.  You have the opportunity to earn university credit and build your future college application while having more fun than you can imagine. We pride ourselves in the language and cultural learning opportunities we create for our students.

ECI's French immersion programs last from 3 to 4 weeks, with the first 2-3 weeks including language classes. The morning classes are small, interactive, fun and usually include other international students. After lunch, there are a variety of supervised activities like kayaking, soccer, visits to the beach or to nearby villages and towns, cooking classes and more. After dinner we enjoy concerts, dancing, movies, and other social activities. Of course, there's plenty of free time for students to get together with friends to explore their own interests - getting a taste of independence and college life is an important part of the experience.

Our French study trips also include travel to some of the most beautiful places in France – Paris, Nice, St Tropez, Carcassonne, Cassis, Annecy, Avignon and more! We always choose high quality, centrally located hotels and professional bilingual guides. Each group is comprised of 30 students and 3 full-time chaperones.

The ECI commitment to high standards also extends to the schools we use for our French classes. We have taken great care to ensure that these classes meet all the ECI quality requirements. The teachers we use are always native French speakers with extensive teaching experience. All instructors have degrees in teaching French as a foreign language and many have experience as well in theatre, literature and music. Students are grouped into one of several levels, based on a placement test. Classes are small, with approximately 10 students per class.

High school students who are planning on applying to college in the near future know how important it is to have a strong application. With ECI's study abroad programs, teens can earn three semester units of credit in French through an accredited US university. These credits are transferable to any university, and are accepted by most universities in the United States.
