French Immersion School in France (in the Loire Valley)

in Anjou in the Loire Valley near Angers in the
West of France, Le Français Face à Face provides
one-to-one residential courses in French for
highly motivated adults. Full immersion programs
for fast and solid progress in French. Whatever
program you choose, as a student, you
enjoy life in a castle where you are accommodated
full board whilst you gain a better understanding
and speaking of French customs, with your own
private teacher supervising your linguistic skills
from breakfast to dinner. A relaxed and friendly
atmosphere with 2 active breaks a day.

French Courses: Aimed at diplomats, executives, individuals - adults at all levels of French.
One student/one teacher (upon request and
according to the level, we also consider a small
group of 2 people).
 Our one-to-one
lessons:
• The intensive French course -40h/week - Active and
supervised immersion from 9h00 to 21h00 with 2
active and friendly breaks in a friendly
atmosphere. (from Sunday evening to Saturday
morning).
• The semi-intensive course -15h/week -
Classes in the morning - outings in the
afternoon with a programme meeting your
expectations (visiting the surrounding towns and
castles, wine tasting, troglodytic houses,
exhibitions, …). Maximum speaking time (from
Sunday evening to Saturday morning).
• The intensive weekend -18h/week - Active and
supervised immersion. From Saturday to Sunday -
arrival on Friday for diner, departure on Sunday
afternoon. With 2 active and friendly breaks in
a friendly atmosphere.
Interactive method: From practice to
theory; Maximum speaking time; The
student-protagonist;
A logical linguistic process; French as the only
medium; Private and adapted monitoring;
Supervised immersion.
 Location: Located in the West of France,
Angers is the gateway to the Loire-Valley and is
distinguished as much for the richness of its
medieval heritage as for its cultural and
economic dynamism. Built either side of the
Maine river, Angers is a very pretty friendly
town from which one can visit a wide range of
castles and the world’s greatest example of
needlework known as the Tapestry of the
Apocalypse. Its imposing castle fortress,
museums, gardens, shops and gastronomic
restaurants and student life give life to the
famous Angevin softness.
Should you wish to discover Anjou’s
architectural treasures, its numerous castles
and taste its gastronomic specialties and wines,
you may be interested in our semi-intensive
training. If you are short on time, have a look
at our intensive weekend course.
 Angers is easily accessible by train or by car,
nearby the cities of Nantes (20 minutes by TGV
train – and the International Airport of Nantes-Atlantique),
Paris (1h30 by TGV train), La Baule (1h30
driving time), Le Mont Saint Michel (2hr driving
time). We come and pick you up at the station of
Angers and upon request at the International
Airport of Nantes-Atlantique.
Accommodation (in a castle): As our
student, you are accommodated full board either in a charming
castle classed as a Historical Monument (near the cities of Angers or Nantes)
or in a beautiful house in the very center of the city of Nantes. The
language instruction takes place in a very friendly atmosphere where you are
accommodated. Enjoy the meals and the breaks with your own monitor and the
hosts. We offer spacious and comfortable rooms or suites (3 categories of
comfort are offered on the site - charm / luxury / prestige). |
