Cambridge Centre for Sixth-form Studies (CCSS) is one of the UK's leading independent sixth-form colleges, specialising in GCSE and A-Level courses for entry into the best British universities. Situated in Cambridge (only 45 minutes north of London), CCSS is a co-educational day and boarding college that provides GCSE and A-Level courses to approximately 200 students (age range of 15-21). The college provides close academic supervision, a friendly, informal atmosphere and high levels of pastoral care.

Quality GCSE Education:
We have a thriving GCSE department that has been offering one-year courses for many years. Our staff are specialised in delivering these courses at a pace which is necessary for covering the material in a limited time. On average we have 20 GCSE students who join us each year. We design a programme to meet the needs of each individual which is challenging and manageable. The inspiring teaching, small classes, regular tutor meetings and a designated base for independent work create the ideal environment for students to learn and develop.

Homework is important for success at GCSE level and helps reinforce learning points and develop confidence. The results of our students are of a high standard and most of our GCSE students go on to take A-Levels.
