Learn German in USA - Language School & College Programs
While there are many different ways to teach and learn German, we at our Language Institute believe that learning the German language requires the student to instantly be immersed in the target language. Our German language lessons, taught by our skilled native instructors, are designed to build conversational skills. Seattle Languages International offers different formats and levels of German group classes. For students with very specific goals, our language school also offers private, customized German language instruction. German private lessons are a good way to learn German quickly.

Our small classes of no more than 9 students allow for plenty of practice time. Here you can chat and make friends in German as your teacher guides the class on the road to fluency. Also private or corporate adult lessons in addition to lessons for children privately or as a customized group or after-school program.

We offer online and classroom instruction tailored to our students´ needs. We work with expatriates and their families moving to a German speaking country. All classes are taught by native German teachers, and thus we place special attention on the development of the spoken language. Between the age of 14-18 years we offer our students the opportunity to participate in certified exams that make them eligible to receive college credits or to study at a German university. We also help our students prepare for the Advanced placement exam and the SAT II in German. Our classes are structured as follows: 1. Playgroup (3-4 years), 2. Kindergarten (4-5 years), 3. Unterstufe (6-10 years), 4. Mittelstufe (10-14 years), 5. Oberstufe (14-18 years), 6. Adult Beginners, 7. Adult Advanced.

Welcome to our school! Seattle Language Academy (SLA) is a non-profit language school in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. We provide group classes and individual lessons in German and various other foreign languages.
