Bénédict School is authorised to provide preparation German courses for beginners to advanced levels and is a center for TestDaf-Examination. Certificates from the Bénédict School are recognised by the universities. The Bénédict School is a recognized private school and member of VDP - Verband der Deutschen Privatschulen - (Organization of Private German Schools).

Our qualified teachers ensure enjoyable, motivating and efficient learning in small groups. Individual care and attention provided at four distinct learning levels guarantee successful learning. Students are normally classified according to language level in the first day of classes. Naturally the school is equipped with the most modern technical learning aids such as computer and audio/video machines. When classes are not being held, our library and classrooms are available for studying.

Active Learning:
Active Learning is included in the course and is tailored to the students’ language ability. We offer our students one unit of Active Learning at each level of their language training.

For example:
- a guided-sightseeing tour of Cologne and a preliminary overview of the city’s history
- a visit with a guided tour of Cologne’s City Museum
- an excursion to Bonn with a guided tour of the “Haus der Geschichte”(the House of History)
- a visit with a guided tour of the company Bayer–Leverkusen
- a visit with a guided tour of the WDR, West Deutscher Rundfunk (the West-German television station)
- a visit to the Christmas markets
- a visit to a cinema
- a visit to a theater
