German Language Youth Camps in Germany
 The
Goethe-Institut is the Federal Republic of
Germany’s cultural institution worldwide. It has
built up a network of 141 institutes in 80
countries and teaches German to over 20,000
students each year in Germany alone.
The Goethe Institute has 51 years of experience
in teaching German as a foreign language,
teacher training and developing curricula,
examinations and course materials.
 Goethe Youth Camps: Learn German while
having fun with games, sports and language
courses for children, teens and young adults in Germany with
the Goethe-Institut. Enjoy an exciting vacation with
plenty of sports and leisure time. Make new
friends and get to know a foreign country while
learning German properly. The focused learning
experience in a German-speaking environment will
ensure rapid progress. German courses with
round-the-clock supervision and special courses
for school classes.
Courses: Goethe-Institut offers intensive 3 week courses
in January and June-August, at different
language levels for children (9-11), teens (12-17) and young
adults (18-20) in more than 20 different
locations that include Berlin, Munich, Bonn,
Düsseldorf and Leipzig.
Features of the programs include: accommodation
and full board in selected boarding schools and
youth hostels in Germany, committed supervision
and care around the clock, highly qualified
teaching by trainers with many years of
experience, 20-24 teaching units
per week, different levels, classes of maximum
16 students, exams, an international atmosphere,
guided sports, leisure and excursion program,
airport pickup service.
Special programs include:
German plus soccer - A summer course with professional
soccer instruction
German plus winter sports - skiing and
snowboarding in Grainau
German plus music - ensemble playing in Munich
The Goethe-Institut also offers the following
courses for young adults:
- Goethe Classic: Year-round program of
intensive courses for general needs. Monthly
examinations
- Goethe Campus: German for university
studies and research. Examination preparation
for German universities (DSH/TestDaF)
- Goethe Spezial: Courses focusing on
German for business and professional life as
well as special courses for culture lovers.
