Objectives:We will provide:
* a chance to students who do not live within the range of any International school to be able to attend an international school.
* a family environment rather than hostel atmosphere by keeping the boarding intake small. The "mum" and "dad" (our house parents) will help students to experience a warm and caring atmosphere in a mixed cultural community.
Programs:Pre-School Program; Primary School Program; Secondary School Program. We have a British based Curriculum with national and international aspects. Subjects are taught in English.
Faculty:Our teachers are experienced, highly motivated and well-qualified. Each student gets individualised attention from the teachers, because the classes are kept small and there are 2 teachers in every class, throughout the school hours. We, at Hessen International School strongly believe that all our students should be encouraged to ask questions, to make choices that matter and to take responsibility for themselves.
The responsibility for quality education at our school depends on the faculty as a group, so all those who apply must be highly motivated, well-qualified teachers, and experienced to work professionally with children. The further professional self-development of our faculty is on our priority list. Specialist teachers like music, German, Sport and assistant teachers may be locally recruited.
