Sprachforum Heinrich Heine Düsseldorf, founded in 1992 by former lecturers of Düsseldorf's Heinrich Heine University, is an international language institute. Our school is a member of the professional association German as a foreign language FaDaF and is recognised pursuant to the German Federal Law concerning the promotion of Education and Training. Sprachforum Heinrich Heine Düsseldorf has been licenced for TestDaF examination since 2002.

Our school is situated in close proximity to Heinrich Heine Düsseldorf University, which can be reached very easily by foot; a streetcar takes you directly from the Sprachforum to the city centre and to the central station. We are a school with a very high quality standard and with an open and friendly atmosphere. We have free Internet for our students and one cafeteria. You will feel at home and learn German fast!
Courses / Programs:9 and 3 week courses German as a foreign Language, throughout the year, in 5 different levels: Grundstufe I (A1 of the Common European Languages Proficiency Levels), Grundstufe II (A2), Mittelstufe I (B1), Mittelstufe II (B2), Oberstufe/DSH-Preparation Course (C1). In July we offer 2 week Summer Courses in two different periods.
Applicants who want to begin their studies at a Gerrman University can take the TestDaF-Examination. Furthermore we offer a TestDaF-Preparation-Courses prior to each TestDaF-examination.
Teachers:The lessons are taught by highly qualified and experienced teachers who - apart from the mandatory university education - usually have a special university qualification for German as a foreign language. We believe in an intercultural and communicative approach to teaching. Recent scientific findings serve as a guideline for us. But most of all, our approach to teaching is based on the aims and needs of our students.
