The Bonn Goethe Institute, housed in a historic villa under heritage protection, is centrally located in the quiet Bad Godesberg district, directly opposite the city park. The Rheinaue park, has some 40 kilometres of trails, a large lake, many landscaped gardens, open air events, sporting activities and picnic grounds. In the region around Bonn, the Eifel National Park is ideal for hiking, and the Ahrtal Valley's vineyards offer memorable wine tasting experiences.
