The aim of boarding at St. George’s is to provide the highest standard of educational and pastoral excellence possible for all pupils regardless of their abilities and background. We offer a safe, comfortable and stimulating environment for all pupils under our care. Our Staff have many years of boarding school experience and promote the individual as a member of a larger family.

Our School House is a community of pupils from diverse cultures and backgrounds who form part of the larger St. George’s community. For boarding pupils the House is their home and as such pupils are required to treat it with both respect and maturity.

Living with the pupils and their extended family is our Head of Boarding who is assisted by Matron and the Resident Staff. The residential team is supported by tutors who visit on a regular basis. The Head of Boarding works closely with our academic staff, thus ensuring that you are kept fully informed of your child’s progress.
