CELT
Athens is a centre dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in foreign
language education. CELT is located in the heart of the city, within
easy reach of a multitude of sites of great cultural interest as well
as interesting holiday destinations. Established in 1993, CELT offers
innovative courses in Modern Greek addressed to adults (general and
business Greek) using a unique range of materials and methods. A
special teacher training course for teachers of Modern Greek worldwide
is offered every summer. Specially designed courses for young learners
and teenagers are also available. The courses and tuition on our web
page are a no-frills offer but special trips, visits and
extra-curricular activities are organised for CELT Athens students.

Piperis Language Centre
The Centre was established and has been operating in Larissa, central Greece. The Modern Greek Language program for non-native speakers was started in 1993. This was in conjunction with the publication of "Greek Grammar Book " for non-native speaking students. Since then the Centre has also been offering Special Holiday Programs lasting for 1, 2 and 3 weeks during the summer months. These programs are held by the sea at the foot of Mount Olympus, (home of the ancient Greek gods), a splendid combination of holidays and studies under the Greek sun.

Modern Greek language courses are held the year round in our facilities in Larissa. Also included in our programs are Modern Greek Tuition Courses (semester abroad programs) in co-operation with various institutions, colleges and universities from abroad. The Greek House
The Greek House is a center for Greek language lessons and Greek culture, created in 1999, by 3 people with many combined years of experience in the fields of Greek language and Greek culture, who felt that the Northern suburbs were sorely lacking in an institution of this kind. The Greek House is in the heart of Kifissia in Athens, in a beautiful villa, just next to the train station. So far people from 27 countries aged 17- 64 have learned Greek in the Greek House and it seems that most multinational companies and foreign embassies in Greece choose the Greek House when it comes to learning Greek properly. All teachers are native Greeks and experienced professionals, with degrees in linguistics and/or philology, who truly love their job and their students.

Courses run from Monday to Friday and on offer are both morning and evening classes, at all levels (Beginners to Proficiency) and all speeds (2 times a week up to Intensive-every day). Conversation classes are also offered. The groups are small so the teacher has time for each student. Also Greek dancing lessons, Greek cooking classes and Greek history classes. |
