You can choose your Spanish teacher: All the classes have 1-on-1 format for the 5 hours a day, Monday through Friday. You are more likely to find a teacher that matches your learning style and interests.
You can choose your host family (homestay): You will know better what your host family's expectations are and in exchange, your needs will be better met by the host family.
All the teachers and host families provide detailed information: Upon registering with ConeXion Xela, the owner talks with them for at least 1 hour so that you will be able get to know them just as well. The teachers will share with you their teaching style and aspirations. The host families will have pictures of the rooms, typical daily menu and their previous experience with foreign students etc.
You will know exactly where your money goes: Other than the $60 registration fee ($75 in Janurary, June, July, August), you will pay directly to your teacher and host family.
