IBS was founded in Budapest in 1991 as the first private business higher education college in Central Europe. Right at the beginning IBS formed strategic alliance with Oxford Brookes University (OBU) and has been offering Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in co-operation with OBU ever since.
IBS currently offers a wide range of Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in different areas of business studies for students from all over the world. The language of tuition is English, with the exception of a few academic programmes which are also available in Hungarian. IBS lays special emphasis on offering hands-on programmes with the possibility of placement jobs in the third year.
