Established in March 1988 in Pune, India, as a Scientific Society of the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and IT, Government of India, The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), is primarily an R & D institution involved in the design, development and deployment of advanced Information Technology (IT) based solutions. As part of the mandate given to C-DAC to generate manpower to address the growing demand for trained manpower in the extremely fast moving sector of Information Technology, C-DAC established its Advanced Computing Training School (ACTS). C-DAC, currently offers a variety of course options in Software technologies, Enterprise System Management (ESM), Geomatics, VLSI designs, Digital Multimedia, and the Programme for Advancing Computer Education - PACE. The PACE programme seeks to impart training in the language of the respective state.Courses
